Celebrating Your Money Wins

Did you know that you really should celebrate all of your money wins? It doesn't matter if they are big or small or even medium sized. You should celebrate every single money win that happens.

As humans, we tend to focus on the not so good things much more than we focus on the good things, it's just a part of our human nature. But when you practice daily gratitude and just being present in your body and environment, it really does help you to focus on the good things you have no matter what else is going on in your life.

And the same is true for your money wins. Focus on the wins and bring a celebration into the win as well.

When you focus on the win and even celebrate it, you are allowing your mind and body to know that it's a good thing to have this money.

Money really is a good thing. There is nothing wrong with having money. There is nothing wrong with spending money. There is nothing wrong with enjoying money.

Money makes our lives easier.

And when you celebrate your wins around money, you'll soon notice that you are regularly celebrating more and more wins. They just keep happening.

At first, you may start with one win a week. Then you'll go to a win every other day. Then you'll go to a win every day. And finally, you'll end with a win multiple times a day.

I know, I know, you are looking at me, saying that sounds way too easy to be true. It may sound that way, but it's not.

Let's look at some examples of money wins you could be celebrating:

  • You got a promotion at work.
  • You paid off a credit card or loan.
  • You were approved for a loan, line of credit or credit card.
  • You landed a new client.
  • You sold a copy of your course.
  • You have a new prospect who is interested in hiring you.
  • You got approved to have ads on your blog.
  • You got an idea for a brand new course that will help so many people.
  • You bought a new car.
  • You won money on a lottery ticket.
  • You won money from the radio.
  • You won a bet.
  • You found money on the sidewalk or street or ground somewhere.
  • You got a new job.
  • You received your paycheck.
  • You didn't buy something impulsively.
  • And this list could just keep going on and on and on. There are so many ways that you can have a money win multiple times a day.

The key to noticing these money wins is to be present. Focus on the right here, right now.

Don't worry about what could have been or what should have been. See what you really do have right here in front of you.

How can you celebrate your money wins?

You can have a dance party for one (or two or many).

You can have a big ol' dance party or you can have a mini dance party. Throw on your favorite, make you wanna dance song, and just dance it out for the whole song. It doesn't matter if you are by yourself or with friends or loved ones. Just celebrate the heck out of this win with a dance party.

Tell someone. Shout it from the rooftops.

Whether you have an accountability partner in this journey, a spouse/partner, a close family friend or member, a best friend, or even your cat, tell them.

Tell them the story of how it happened. Tell them why you are so excited for this money win. Make it a big, freaking deal!

Write it in your journal.

You could use your regular journal, or you could even create a money wins journal, just for seeing your wins.

I personally love the idea of creating a money wins journal. Because then you can easily read through all of the money wins that you have been having lately.

Create a money wins jar.

You know how at the end and beginning of each year, there are all kinds of posts of doing a gratitude jar. The premise of this jar is to write down on a piece of paper each day something you are grateful for, then at the end of the year, you empty out the jar and read all 365 things you are grateful for.

It helps us to be more connected with the present when we are grateful for at least one thing each day. And by focusing on our gratitude, we bring more awareness to the good things that we have in our lives.

I've made a change to this technique.

I'm making my jar a money wins jar.

Every day, I'm going to write down at least one money win that I had that day. It doesn't matter if it's a big or small win. I'm going to write it down and celebrate it.

Then at the end of the year, I'm going to empty the jar and celebrate all of my money wins for the year on New Year's Day.

These celebrations are all a part of building my money relationship and making it stronger every day. They say, what you focus on grows. So I'm focusing on my money wins. All the ways that I can celebrate my money, every single day; whether that is not spending money on something I almost impulsively bought (I do this a lot! And it's a total win to not buy things for me!), making a sale in my business, getting an unexpected payment, even getting expected payments, maybe getting a raise.

Who knows what is going to happen over the next week, month, or year? But I know for sure, I'm going to take it day by day and celebrate my money wins every day.
