Having a relationship with money is very important. This relationship is very similar to any other relationship that you are in.

But you can always start fresh in this relationship and develop this relationship into a perfect loving one that you are proud of.

So tell me, how do you consider your relationship with money right now?

Are you in the majority of people who have a love-hate relationship with money? One day, you love it and the next, you hate it?

Or are you in an on-again, off-again relationship with money? A few weeks you are on good terms with money, then the next few weeks, not so good terms?

Or maybe you just don’t have a loving relationship with money at all?

Don’t beat yourself up about it. You can always start a fresh relationship here.

Money LOVES to provide for and support you. Money wants to be that loving Husband (or wife) that you want in your life. Money wants to have a loving, caring and supportive relationship with YOU!

So are you ready to cultivate this brand new, fresh start of a relationship with money? Right now, since it’s the beginning of spring, the season of new beginnings, is the PERFECT time to start a brand new, fresh relationship with money.

The first thing you have to do to cultivate this new relationship is to acknowledge it. Acknowledge the fact that you want this relationship. You want money to provide for you. You want money to love you. And YOU want to love money back the same way.

Now, I want you to write down a list of ALL of the reasons and ways that money can support you every single day of your life. Write down how this support is going to show up in your life and what you are going to do to nurture this support. Take your time with this and make this list as long as you possibly can. Fill 2, 3, 4 pages of your journal with this list. I want you to write this list and really feel the support that money can give to you every single day.

And now, the last piece of the puzzle, write out ALL of the reasons that you can support having your own loving relationship with money every single day for the rest of your lift. What can you do to show money that you love it? What can you do to show money the appreciation and gratitude that you have for it being ever present in a loving relationship in your life?

Can you feel this relationship starting to form just by doing these three little exercises?

Just like any relationship in your life, you have to put in the work to make the relationship work. And with any relationship you can wake up one morning and decide that you want to start a fresh new relationship today. Then you will just cultivate that relationship with extra love and care and then sit back like a happy mother and watch it grow and blossom even more.

With it being the beginning of spring, the perfect time for a fresh start and new beginnings, today is the perfect day to wake up and start a fresh relationship with your money.

I want to pull money close and give it a big hug . Let it go in the morning so it comes back to me at night. Rather than a kiss goodbye.

  • Clarissa, what a positive and thought-provoking post. ^^
I would love if you could give a couple of examples of how I can show money that I value/appreciate it, as that piece of the puzzle is new to me. Thanks!

Perfect Rachel! Let me know how the exercises go for you.

  • Clarissa says:

Yes I agree that this is the one relationship that does get taken for granted. We don’t realize that our relationship with money is very important.

  • Clarissa says:

    YES! Love it!

  • Clarissa says:

Thank you Keyra! There are some exercises above in the post that you can do. But the most important thing you can do is the way that you talk to your money. Talk to your money like you would with your significant other or even your children. Tell it how much you love and appreciate it and having it in your life.

  • Clarissa says:

You are welcome! Yes, keep inviting that money love into your life! 🙂

  • Martin Ricky says:

Up and down is the best way to describe my relationship with money! And women for that matter too haha! Wish they were both stable all the time….
